The German Federal Association for Road Haulage, Logistics and Waste Disposal (BGL e.V.), representing around 7,000 companies, makes Depotcharge the charging network for its members: BGL Charge launches as the nationwide depot charging network for road freight transport, supported by E.L.V.I.S. AG with more than 250 partner companies at over 350 locations. In parallel, Depotcharge closes a pre-seed financing round of EUR 2.7 million – led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), joined by xdeck Ventures, Kopa Ventures, Prequel Ventures and business angels from logistics, e-mobility and the energy sector.

Depotcharge, Europe's leading marketplace for depot charging of electric trucks, appoints Marc Clausing as Chief Commercial Officer effective September 1, 2026. He will be responsible for the commercial expansion of the company and drive further growth across Europe. Over the past 21 years at DB Schenker (now DSV), Clausing held various roles, most recently as Account Director for a global top-tier client.

The Swiss Commercial Vehicle Association ASTAG is introducing ASTAG Charge, a new association-wide solution for charging electric trucks. Based on the Depotcharge platform, ASTAG members can make their charging infrastructure mutually accessible. The pilot phase starts in early May 2026; from November 2026, the solution will be rolled out to all ASTAG members.

UTOPIA is the introduction of Depotcharge in Switzerland – together with Repower, DPD Switzerland, G. Leclerc Transport and Swiss Post. From May 1, 2026, logistics companies with charging infrastructure or fleet needs can register. The project is embedded as a concrete measure in the Federal Office of Energy's Roadmap Electromobility 2030.
