Costs and pricing model
With Depotcharge, you only incur costs when charging actually takes place. There is no basic fee and no setup cost, just a service fee per kWh charged.
Here you can see how the price is made up.
1.What fleets pay
As a fleet, you pay a price per kWh that consists of two parts.
- The charging price of the site, which each depot operator sets in its own tariff and which therefore varies from site to site.
Depot operators can also set different prices for different fleet groups.
- The service fee charged by Depotcharge.
You can see the price in the portal before you charge, so you always know your costs. All prices are exclusive of VAT, with the rate and currency determined by the country of the site.
Billing takes place monthly by invoice, which we send to the billing email address you have entered.
2.What depot operators receive
As a depot operator, your price is your net revenue, because the service fee is charged to the fleet on top and is not deducted from your revenue. Depotcharge pays out to your company monthly once you have entered your payout details there.
Billing always uses the tariff that applied at the time of charging. If your station was offline in the meantime, the charging data is synchronised afterwards, so you are still paid for every kWh.
3.Note
The revenue shown in the portal is always net and does not include the service fee.
