Logging in to the Driver Web App

Your drivers do not need their own account, because they open the Driver Web App directly in the browser of their smartphone at the following link https://driver.depotcharge.com. Your drivers can also add the app to their home screen by tapping Share in the browser and then Add to Home Screen.

From then on, they will always find the Driver Web App on their smartphone’s home screen.

1.Prerequisites

You have the Admin or Member role, you are in the Fleet manager area, your fleet has been created, and an RFID card with the status Active has been assigned to the vehicle.

2.Step by step

  1. 1.
In the sidebar, open Fleets & charging cards and click on your fleet.
  2. 2.
Next, look for the app login link and the QR code, which you can find in two places.
    • In the Vehicles tab, you will find them next to each vehicle.
    • In the RFID cards tab, you will find them next to each RFID card.
  3. 3.
Finally, pass the app login link on to your driver or ask them to scan the vehicle’s QR code.
Your drivers can also open the app at the following link https://driver.depotcharge.com and then log in with the QR code or the UID of the RFID card assigned to the vehicle.

3.Result

As soon as the driver opens the link or scans the QR code, they are assigned to the vehicle and see the Authenticated vehicle window with the vehicle details. There, they choose their language under Language if needed and tap Next.

The Driver Web App then shows them a map of the sites with which your fleet has an active agreement and where they can therefore charge.

4.Logging in with the UID of the RFID card

If a driver does not want to use either the link or the QR code, they simply enter the UID of their RFID card on the login screen of the Driver Web App. The article Where is the UID on my RFID card? explains where you can find the UID.

5.Note

In the Driver Web App, the driver can navigate to a site, filter sites, view opening hours and site details, and contact support if needed. The article Site map in the Driver Web App explains exactly what the map shows.

Charging still works with the RFID card that is assigned to the vehicle.
Your drivers can also add the app to their home screen by tapping Share in the browser and then Add to Home Screen. From then on, they will always find the Driver Web App on their smartphone’s home screen.
