Getting started for depot operators
In five steps, we guide you through the setup so that fleets can charge at your site. Allow some time for the technical integration of the charging stations, which usually takes 1 to 2 weeks.
1.Prerequisites
If you do not have an account yet, please register first. To find out how, see Registration.
2.Step by step
- 1.First, create your site under Sites.
To find out how, see Create a site.
- 2.Next, integrate the charging points by adding them and connecting your charging stations to Depotcharge.
You do not need new stations for this.
To find out how the integration works, see Manage charging points and connectors.
- 3.Then set your price under Tariffs.
In most cases, a single price per kWh is enough.
To find out how to create a tariff, see Manage prices and tariffs.
- 4.Then publish an agreement offer in which you specify which fleets are permitted to charge and at what tariff.
To find out how, see Add an agreement.
- 5.Finally, enter your payout details by adding the VAT ID number, IBAN and BIC to your company.
This is not yet necessary to get started, but without this information Depotcharge cannot pay out your earnings.
To find out how, see Company: enter payout details.
3.Result
Fleets can now accept or request your offer, and once an agreement is active, the fleet's vehicles charge at your site.
4.Note
You can carry out the technical integration yourself. If you wish, the Depotcharge team will be happy to assist you or to carry it out together with you.
If your site does not exist yet, set its status to In planning. Fleets then already see the site on the map and can register their interest, so you can tell early on whether there is demand before you invest.
To find out how to make your site visible to fleets, see Create a site.
