Getting started for fleets

In five steps, we guide you through setting up your fleet so that your vehicles can charge at Depotcharge sites. It is so quick that you can get started on the very same day.

1.Prerequisites

If you do not have an account yet, please register first. To find out how, see Registration.

2.Step by step

  1. 1.
    Register.

    In doing so, you create your user account, your organisation and your company in one go, as described in the registration article linked above.

  2. 2.
    Next, check your company, which the platform created automatically during registration.

    You will find it under Organisation settings in the Companies tab.

    You only need additional companies if you want to invoice separately.

  3. 3.
    Then, under Fleets & charging cards, create your fleet, to which you will later assign your RFID cards.

  4. 4.
    Now add an RFID card to the fleet.

    You can also enter your existing RFID cards from other providers, so you do not need to order anything new.

  5. 5.
    Finally, conclude an agreement, because without an active agreement your fleet cannot charge at third-party sites.

    To do this, open the site where you want to charge in the Map, click View agreement offer and then Accept agreement.

    Depending on the depot operator's settings, the agreement either applies immediately or the operator reviews your request first.

3.Result

Your RFID cards now work at all sites with which you have an active agreement.

4.Note

Vehicles and cost centres are optional. However, it is worth adding vehicles if you later want to analyse which vehicle charges how much.

To find out how, see Add a vehicle.

Your drivers do not need their own account. So that they can use the Driver Web App on their phone, open Fleet manager > Fleets and select your fleet.

On the right-hand side of each vehicle, you will find an app login link that you can send to the driver together with the QR code.
